Found this on Honda-Tech board if you have not seen it already. This guy sounds like he knows what he is talking about, but maybe a sales guy for Action. I've always done my clutch research through hearsay. It's good to see a post with information regarding materials and design.

His connection to Action leaves me wondering if his information is biased or not.

I was thinking the very same thing. Also, it has been my personal observation that the use of KEVLAR on a street clutch is worthless... I have watched many kevlar lined discs fail very quickly here in my area... especially from SOHC 1.6L N/A engines !!! Now, I am not sure if the problem is the material or the hack that is building them... but either way, I do not have any positive feedback on KEVLAR. This directly conflicts with the info that rocket presented.
